COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is specifically designed from a neurodivergent and animal (Chicken) perspective, to build a better understanding of social dynamics, our own emotions, and emotions of others.
Understand everyday situations from a multi perspectives. Chickens to Love is an inclusive program, created from an autistic perspective, created to benefit everyone, and include everyone.
WORKING ALONGSIDE CHICKENS (OR ANY ANIMAL) CAN ASSIST WITH:
- Creating a connection without preconception
- Building confidence and self-esteem
- Develop social awareness and understanding social dynamics
- Reduce anxiety levels
- Stimulate cognitive, physical, and sensory skills
- Help develop and understanding of Body feelings, Emotions and Reactions (Body Signals) and Consent touch and boundaries
- Understand Body feelings and reactions (signs) Identify the pairing for feelings, emotions, and body signals
- Identify similarities in life experiences with chickens and other group participants, helping connect with peers though common interests
- To identify emotions in ourselves and of others, and how our emotions may impact those around us… including chickens
- To understand Chicken behaviour and emotions how that translates into human life.
- Identify body language of chickens and translate into the understanding of human body language
- Developing the ability to observe and recognise micro communication amongst the chicken flock.
- To identify emotions in ourselves and of others, and how our emotions may impact those around us (including animals)

HOW IS THE TRAINING DELIVERED?
Training is delivered live via Zoom, by Summer Farrelly the creator of Chickens to Love. Training is delivered Face to face via zoom with break times when required.
Training is delivered as a group or individual, this depends on availability and life commitments of the enrolled participant.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TEC ISSUES THROUGH OUT THE TRAINING?
Sessions will be rescheduled
MINI TEST, DEMONSTRAING SKILLS LEARNT AND CERTIFICATE AWARDED
Once training is completed you will be required to:
- Complete a mini test to demonstrate your knowledge of course information.
Once all requirements are complete a certificate of completion will be awarded.

My program is registered on the Animal Therapies Ltd webpage, meaning it’s a recognised as a professional program within the Animal Assisted Service sector. My Animal Assisted Learning Program (AAL) that can be facilitated in an allied health setting by a qualified Allied Health professionals or counsellor (AAT)
