My family recently attended our local COVID 19 vaccine clinic.

All my family members are autistic, each of us experience various levels of anxiety and self-regulate our emotions differently Planning appointments in advance gives our family an opportunity to arm ourselves with strategies based on the location, predicted circumstances and the surrounding environment. My eldest brother uses his phone to distract his escalating thoughts eliminatingContinue reading “My family recently attended our local COVID 19 vaccine clinic.”

Last year I made an important decision to get vaccinated against Covid 19.

I made my decision not for me but for those around me, the elderly and immune compromised people in my life, it also allowed me to continue visiting them regularly without compromising their health. It also allowed me to keep the connection with my loved especially those who have limited access to social communities. IContinue reading “Last year I made an important decision to get vaccinated against Covid 19.”

What is a Negative thought blocker journal ?

If your not familiar with the spoon theory here is a link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoon_theory I learnt about Spoon theory when I was 10 years old.
